드디어 새 애플스토어가 뉴욕 5th애비뉴에 지난 주 금요일 문을 열었다. 소호 애플 센터가 하나 있긴 했지만, 다운타운쪽에 치우친 느낌이 들고, 소호쪽 하나만으로는 관광객과 업타운쪽 소비자를 만족시키기에는 역부족인 느낌이 들었던 건 사실이다. 어퍼이스트쪽에 위치한 애플스토어는 '1년내내 24시간 개장'이라는 파격적인 정책과 스토어 입구 디자인 또한 맥큐브를 본 딴 듯한 트랜스퍼런트 글래스 스타일로서 어퍼이스트의 아이콘이 되기에 충분할 듯 하다.

Do you think it wasn't enough for only one store in NYC, Manhattan? I think so. So there will be covered for upper east side and uptown customers.And even, it is 24/365!!! They can be exposed by Apple's force for 24 hours.
Disign, the apple store's front gate, is similar to Apple mac cube computer. Or some people could say it could remind of the pyramid gate of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Whatever!! Anyway, it should be the new icon in NYC soon.
